Terms

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy outlines what data is collected by Placevox, a tool provided by Oriontil Tecnologia da Informação Ltda., as well as how this data is collected and processed.

If you do not agree with the collection and processing of data by Placevox as described in this Privacy Policy, you should not use the service provided by Placevox. If you are already using the service and do not agree with any subsequent changes, you must stop using the service.

This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Placevox Terms of Use. The definitions, limitations, warranties, sanctions, scope, liabilities, and other elements set forth in the Terms of Use apply, where applicable, to this Privacy Policy, both in relation to the user or users (defined as any person or persons using Placevox services) and to Placevox itself.

Usage restrictions resulting from the legal regulations of the user's place of residence apply to this Privacy Policy. Therefore, if you reside in a location that prohibits data collection and use due to limitations such as age or any other restriction, and you fall under any of these limitations, you must not provide your data to Placevox.

This Privacy Policy applies to any medium through which the service is offered, whether via website, mobile application, or any other platform that may be made available.

2. Data Collected

Placevox collects and stores the following data when you use the service:

Although not collected or stored, other data may be accessed while you use the service, such as internet connection status (limited to checking whether there is an active connection), browser type, and language. Any of this secondary data is only used during an active session and is not stored in any way for other purposes or subsequent use.

Placevox uses third-party services to make the platform available, such as web browsers, operating systems, and app stores. Data collected by these services and shared with Placevox is used solely for the purposes defined by the thirdparty services themselves. This data may include, for example, the location where the Placevox app was installed, device model, and usage time. Placevox has no control over how this third-party data is collected.

Third-party services also include payment providers that Placevox may use to charge for specific features.

Placevox does not use cookies or any other tracking tools, except for those mentioned above as part of third-party services.

3. Use of Data

The data collected by Placevox is used to provide the Placevox service to you.

Placevox does not monitor or control the data you provide or add to the service. If there is misuse of the service (as defined in the Terms of Use), Placevox may review the data or added content to protect the integrity of the service or to prevent harm or damage to third parties or the community.

Placevox may conduct usage analysis to improve the service or identify issues. This analysis may include the number of spaces created (for definitions, limitations, restrictions, and other elements regarding spaces, please refer to the Placevox Terms of Use), the date of last use (to identify active and inactive spaces), and the total amount of content added to the spaces.

In addition to the analyses above, Placevox may perform other specific or global analyses of the provided data for debugging and troubleshooting purposes.

The collected email address is used to identify the user, as well as to receive messages regarding password resets or updates to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, in addition to any other communications you expressly agree to receive.

Placevox may collect and store payment details provided by you if strictly necessary to comply with legal requirements regarding fee or tax payments.

4. Data Sharing

Placevox does not share, sell, or transfer your data to third parties without your consent, except as provided in this section.

Placevox may use third-party payment platforms, which may require you to share certain information with them to process your purchases of placecreds. This data is not collected by Placevox, and Placevox is not responsible for how these platforms use your data. If you have any questions, you should review the privacy policies of those platforms.

Specific legal, administrative, or judicial requests for information may occur, and Placevox may be legally required to comply. However, whenever possible, Placevox will request that the judicial authorities maintain case confidentiality.

Broad or generic requests made by judicial or administrative bodies will be contested by Placevox.

In the event that Placevox is sold or merges with a third party, the data stored under this Privacy Policy will be shared with that third party.

5. Data Subject Rights

6. Data Storage

The data collected by Placevox is stored on third-party servers contracted for this purpose, utilizing updated security and safeguarding systems following the best available technical standards.

7. Data Retention Period

Placevox stores your data for as long as you use the service. If you no longer wish to use Placevox, a space deletion feature is available, which results in the deletion of all data you have within that space. Removing the app from your mobile device does not delete your data; you must use the "delete space" feature to do so.

8. Contact and Service Identification

This Privacy Policy may be modified at any time. Whenever this happens, a notification will be sent to the email address used to access our service. If you do not wish to receive these emails, you can unsubscribe using the link provided in the message itself; however, in this case, you should check this page regularly to stay informed about any updates.

By continuing to use Placevox after changes take effect, you agree to and accept the updated terms.
